How to play
- The cover shows how hard today's puzzle is: Easy, Medium or Hard. For now that is our own estimate; once enough people have played it will come from real results.
- Tap Play. The picture appears and the short true story pops up line by line as it is read to you. The clock starts when the story ends.
- Tap the letters (or type them) to spell the word that fits the story. Tap a placed letter to send it back, or drag letters to move or swap them. Tap an empty space to fill that one next.
- Stuck? Tap “Give me a letter” and one drops into place. Each letter you ask for costs one medal, so gold becomes silver, silver becomes bronze, and bronze becomes no medal.
- Solve it in under 20 seconds for gold, under 40 for silver, under 60 for bronze. At one minute the word fills in.
- Your first try is the one you share. Play again as often as you like for practice.
